lust

It is Father's Day but too bad we didn't take it as far as a family feast like the one on Mother's Day. We were gathered around to watch a Steven Spielberg's production starring Tom Hanks, The Terminal, on HBO. It is a refreshing story demonstrating the survival skills and events occuring while he was detained in the airport as he was considered as 'unacceptable' to enter the United States of America. While the climax of the film anticipatingly builds, he met with a woman he was eager to please but she refused probably because she felt incompatible with him as he was just too good to be true.

Have you ever felt so much connection with another person that with one deep look into the eyes and almost as if you feel what the other is or have been waiting/longing for? I felt these intensity between Tom and Katherine, in the movie of course. All of a sudden my emotions were stirred and a stinge of desperation came eating my heart. This complex and confusing feeling grew in me and it felt like an old friend visiting, as if I have felt it before but not at all capable recalling when.

That great amount of lust was painful but at the same time comforting. The desire to hold that someone or to be held by that someone. All that desire foaming up but only to find you have to do anything and everything possible to hold back your intentions. Everything was unacceptable although it is just as simple as fulfilling wants. You forget 'what is' and press on to win his/her heart. You had it. But he/she takes the opposite turn to change things to ought-to-be, to prevent hurting each other. Both held true to this word, destiny.

Both go seperate ways and continue waiting...

I am too.
